OVERVIEW PURPOSE AND AIM OF THE POSITION

• The IT Manager will oversee the technology infrastructure and systems of our retail and e-commerce operations. This role is crucial for ensuring seamless integration between our physical stores and online platforms, enhancing customer experience, and driving business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

Main responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks, ensuring that they meet the needs of both retail stores and e-commerce platforms. System development when required.

• Oversee the technology infrastructure, and lead any new IT projects, including system upgrades ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  

• Have strong communication skills towards both the internal, and the external stakeholders, as well as vendors/suppliers.
  

• Support the e-commerce manager with the smooth functioning of the e-commerce website, including uptime, and security.
  

• Continuously maintain robust security protocols to protect customer data and company information.
  

• Facilitate (first point of contact for external providers) the integration of various systems (POS, ERP, CRM, E-commerce) to ensure seamless operations across all channels.
  

• Provide technical support and training to staff, ensuring they can effectively use the technology tools provided. Troubleshooting when required.
  

• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
  

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternative extensive relevant work experience.

Experience/distinctive competences

• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role, preferably in retail and e-commerce environments.
  

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security. Experience with e-commerce platforms, POS systems, and CRM software.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, Swedish and English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
  

• Experience with cloud computing and SaaS solutions.
  

• Familiarity with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
  

• Ensure all IT operations comply with relevant laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
  

• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and investments. Previous experience in having budget responsibility needed.

• Be responsible for monitoring the purchase or re-use IT equipment from third party technical support providers
  

Information

Type of employment: Permanent, full-time after an initial 6-month trial period.

Start date: By agreement. As soon as possible.

Location: Office based role with possibility to work remotely one day per week.
